He characterises all that is wrong with the Democratic Party

But yes, his psychodrama is highly entertaining.

Honestly, I can't help but admire Blagojevich's conduct after his arrest. Few people could remain calm and cool with the kind of venom that's being spat at the governor from all quarters, but he's doing it- and trying his best to keep working for the people of his state, even as they've turned on him.

Anytime. He's funnier than any other of our politicians and he'll make Question Period entertaining instead of it being an Insult Period. Grin

The first thing that come to my cynical little mind when I read this, is that Blago is fishing for Pubbie votes in the state Senate to vote against his conviction. Smiley

He's done no favors for the Senate Rs over the last six years. Sen Prez Jones was his bulwark in the legislature and Jones used it against the Rs regularly. More likely he's fishing for a jury pool. The criminal case is still looming.

If anything, Rod's hairstyle is more comparable to the Pearl Harbour attacks.

Anyway, I cannot believe this man is serious, not about his recent quote but what he'll be doing tomorrow when the Illinois Senate, from memory, begins the impeachment process. I present to you Rod on The View and Larry King Live. And I thought Spitzer was bad, Rod takes the cake.

I like how he thinks his impeachment is a conspiracy for the legislature to raise taxes on ordinary folk.

Also, I like how his lead lawyer just quit this week.

Goddamnit. Spitzer should have fought like Blago did.

The sad thing is that Spitzer was one of the people who stood up the strongest to Wall Street, who instead of screwing a prostitute, screwed the whole country. Wall Street needs all of the criticism it gets right now.
