I voted for H.  A looks kind of nice too, but I'm not very fond of cold weather

The power to find them is within you. Seek inside and accept Allah into your heart and all will be revealed.

D is probably the prettiest, though they all look generically British.

Probably, but it's not like most of the names would mean much to people here Smiley

Voted A. Also liked E and F.

Of course H looks the most "big city"... which means it certainly has nice areas to live in... but they aren't in the picture.

You mean you don't think that Manzoni era tower blocks are nice to live in? Shocking! Grin

A.

I get the town to myself on a QoS away day and the Tories get an extra voter for that final push in 2011!

A or E. Voted E.

I would probably recognize some of the names, so tell us, Al, tell us. Tongue

A: Dumfries (view of the centre of the town. Other side of the bridge is mostly council estates, btw)
B: Dalmellington (and not actually the most depressing part of the town...)
C: Sanquhar (main road through town, surrounding houses and the Covenanter thingy)
D: Church Stretton (view of one of the main residential areas from the railway "station". Long Mynd is in the background)
E: Ludlow (Castle Square on a nice day. There are at least two Ludlow's really; I don't have any shots of the area east of the railway at the moment)
F: Bethesda (main road through the town, showing some residential areas in the background)
G: Bangor (a slightly odd row of houses just below the main uni library. The drop between this area and the main part of the city is pretty steep)
H: Birmingham (just off New Street, looking out at office blocks and some charming Manzoni-era slums-in-the-sky in, I think, Ladywood proper)
I: somewhere in the Black Country. Oldbury, I think. Maybe Smethwick. That's not a river; it's a canal.

Nothing in any of the photos gives the slightest sign of anything that would appeal to me.

And, so far, the Black Country picture has no votes. Shocking. Here are some houses near-ish (IIRC) to where that photo be:

The rubbish being there probably has something to do with being right by the railway line.
