Cuervo Gold, though I admit that I haven't tried all of the items on that list.  it was my first liquor bottle of my own and I have remained loyal.  some flavored rums are good (like watermelon and things like that) but in an overly pop-rock sort of way that makes me feel guilty for liking it.  I also tend to drink too much if it is overly drinkable.

I also haven't tried all the items on the list: brandy, absinthe, and tequila haven't passed through my lips.  Brandy due to lack of interest, the other two due to cautionary tales.

What's your brand?  We're currently on a nice bottle of Grey Goose.

Vodka isn't really my thing...the only thing it has going for it is that it's easy to drink.

I like beer.  But when drinking liquor, it's always a vodka and club soda.  I guess it has to do with the fact that whenever me and my friends get a table in a nightclub we always order a bottle of Grey Goose.  When taking shots, it's only Patron or Coffee Patron.

I'd like to grow up, and start drinking whiskey and water.  Is it true you don't get hangovers when you drink that?

I use to drink Vodka (cheap stuff usually....rarely better than Absolut), but I don't recall the last time.  On the rare occasion I do drink, it's beer and it's almost always Rolling Rock or Bud Ice.  I'm not an alcohol elitist.

I do not drink to drunk, I only have beer I enjoy sitting down and tasting, same goes with liquor, so a cognac with a cigar, which can also be accompanied by a mix of warm Diet Dr. Pepper, Ice, and a mellower shot or two of rum in a glass (try it).

Then there's holiday Baileys and other frilly things once and a while.

My clear favourite, as referenced in another thread, is Chivas Regal scotch whiskey (usually neat, sometimes on the rocks), although I do enjoy gin - either as a g&t or as a martini (nice bottle of Bombay Saphire here), and a mate used to buy tequila sunrises - and I have learnt that they are truly an enjoyable drink (probably a bit dangerous - very easy to drink). I've had a brandy, lime and soda before (very refreshing, as is the lime and soda without the brandy) although I haven't drunk that in a very long time. I truly, totally and sincerely dislike rum.

My fiancee and I are members of a wine club, so we have a fairly full wine rack of about 70-odd bottles.

I don't mind the occasional beer, although I don't drink it very often.

EDIT: Just read Gustaf's comment in the comedy thread - Jägermeister is great in Jägerbombs. I don't know if you have them in the US, but I assume you do. They're a great way to start the night.

An acquired taste.  But I have certainly acquired it.  LOL

Scotch for me, though.  Single male, 18 or better preferably.

I'm assuming that's Freudian.

OMG.... I am never going to live THAT down.  I don't think I have ever gone into the Comedy Goldmine before -- at least not as the foil.  Guess it's my turn.  <grin>

MALT

I wouldn't have a clue what to do with a Scotch Male.  ;-)     (I do consider Andrew a dear, friend however...)

This thread reminds me of that sunday school song...

No you can't get to Heaven
(no you can't get to Heaven)
In a bottle of gin
(in a bottle of gin)
'Cause God won't let...
('cause God won't let...)
Those spirits in...
(etc)

Vodka and occasionally rum or gin.

Try mixing Absolut currant with 7-up and a bit of grenadine.
