Can't think what my most right-wing position is, but my really left wing positions have to be on matters like civil liberties and my support for universal healthcare.

Left Wing: Single payer health care, legalisation of "soft" drugs (marijuana, etc.), complete separation of church and state and taxation of religious organisations.

Right Wing: Death Penalty, drastic reduction of the number of government employees, tougher sentences for those who disturb the peace and destroy public and private property.

Most Left wing position: I support a mixture of land nationalisation and radical land re-distribution.
Most Right wing position: depends how you define things. Probably abortion, though.

Left=Wing : Free Trade. Do not support the shipping away of U.S Jobs.

Depends on what you mean by "right and "left". I support free trade for instance, but that's not inherently a right-wing position.

Yeah. Protectionism and pro-life fail.

Left-Wing: Abolish the military, radical liberalization of sexual freedoms (abolish the age of consent, legalize beastiality, gay rights, poligamy, incest, full legalization of prostitution, etc.), abolish land ownership,  abolish all institutions of coersion of power including the state and it's corporate masters, full legalization of all drugs.

Right-Wing: Support of militias, support of unrestricted unregulated right to bear arms (except nuclear arms which no one should have), progressive elimination of all taxation, global free trade (although as Xahar pointed out that is not an inherently "right wing" position).

That's not a really left wing position, it's not pro-gun but it definitely doesn't fall into the category of OMG YOU'RE A GUN GRABBER!

Right wing: Probably free trade with everyone
Left wing: Probably my belief in the arbitrary and non-inherent nature of national sovereignty

Interesting, still true probably.  I think everyone perceives of left and right differently.  I don't view my advocacy of legalizing and taxing heroin to be particularly radical, but most people probably would.

I don't know if I need a "position" on anything though Smiley  I have a series of skeptical views and opinions and think we should be sympathetic to the oppressed and be more concerned with making sure that those who need help get it than keeping people from abusing the system (why I support Democrats, fundamentally)...and I have a strong distaste for false appeals to moral traditionalism...but I don't know how productive this laundry list approach to politics is.
