Bill Clinton comes to mind. As does Arlen Specter.

Internationally, Tony Blair was obvious.

Hagel and old-McCain.  neither were/are moderates but both catered to this 'omg reach across the aisle' image and worked hard to cultivate it.  that's what the label is all about.  remember, benconstine's economic PM score leaves him closer to Lenin than Clinton.

Any of the "moderate" Republicans who nonetheless vote like right-wing hacks anyway. McCain, John Warner, Norm Coleman, etc.

Do you think that's his actual score though or yet another synthetic creation?

There's a State Senator here in Washington by the name of Tim Sheldon. He's basically the dictionary definition.

I was going to say that his score is probably fraudulent, so that's probably not relevant here anyway.

Allen Boyd for being the first, and ultimately only, Democrat on the "transfer Social Security to Wall St." bandwagon.
