There is a place in hell for women who don't support other women.

She was alive back then?  No wonder why so many people are scared of her.  Tongue

On a serious note, I hope Hutchison wins and Palin is marginalized within the GOP.

Palin's trying to exert political influence for the sake of exerting political influence.  If Perry wins the victory will be partialyl attributed to her.

Palin also represents that faction of the Republican Party that wants to destroy its brightest stars for the sake of getting the most conservative candidate possible - even if that conservative candidate is a poor articulator of conservative ideas.

Probably just a slap at Kay, getting back at her for her comments about Palin on the day McCain picked her.  Tongue

Awesome.  I hope KBH destroys Perry.

On the other hand, it'd be easier for a Democrat to defeat Perry while KBH is a god-machine

I think this could actually be an important endorsement, although I'll defer to Sam.  If Perry can actually run as the legitimately conservative candidate vs. old stinky boxers, that would seem to be a plus

haha, I remember that. Her reaction to the Palin pick was priceless. It was essentially "uhh... who is this person?".

Texas has open primaries (well, we don't have party registration, so anyone can vote in anything), so I wonder who I'll vote for. Smiley

This is going to be very interesting.  Hutchinson, also, is weak on abortion from a pro-life standpoint, and so I could see her having trouble beating Perry among Christian conservatives.

I too am looking forward to voting in the Republican primary, unless of course Kinky runs as a Democrat (don't think you can vote in both). Hutchison has actually voted pro-life pretty consistently, though it should be expected that Perry and the fundies will ignore this. You know you're in Texas when an opponent can successfully run to the right of a candidate like KBH.

Hutchison and Perry should swap. Hutchison wins, Perry appoints himself Senator.

Gov. Palin Endorses Gov. Perry for Re-Election!

"Rick Perry is a leader. While the nation lost half a million jobs in the last year, Texas gained 250,000 net new jobs. I hope you will join me in supporting a true conservative for four more years as Texas Governor." - Alaska Governor Sarah Palin

Ouch.

She says true conservative because KBH supports women's rights.
