The fact that I don't think closing Guantanamo really gets anything done.  All we really need to do is ensure that human rights are restored.  Closing it only means we have find more prison space in an already overcrowded system.

Haha, that's pretty clever...

it's the teensiest bit offensive, I think adding a "'ve" to "we" helps a little bit...

I decided to go with it and use the title.  On a completely unrelated note, that column got bumped to Friday's edition of the paper so that they could make room for an editorial about Bob Saget.

So, they changed it to "Git-mo prisons".  I feel like that loses so much of the wittyness that mine had, and I doubt many people will get the play on words that "We've gotta Gitmo prisons" had.  Oh well.
