I donīt at all understand why several people want to see marriage restricted in the Constitution. Abortion, I can at least understand the argument behind, but thereś not really much defense for hetero-only marriage other than rightist religious nonsense.

I agree.  Same-sex marriage causes injury to know one.  In fact, it's disallowing same-sex marriage that could cause injury.  Even if you think homosexuality is immoral, it's not like banning gay marriage is going to end that immorality.
