I'd nominate Fred Phelps.

I was going to say Ogis, but since the felony thing disqualifies him, it probably is Fred Phelps.

I really couldn't think of any, but yeah, Fred Phelps has to be on the top of my list.  Now you got me all pissed off - he pisses me off so much.

Do you mean convicted?  I'm pretty sure Phelps has done things worthy of felony status.

Dammit, now we need someone new for everyone to hate on.

I propose April Gaede.

In Nazi Pop Twins, the girls are presented as not really having any strong ideological beliefs of their own, it's all their mom. I know this is just one documentary, and it has it's own agenda, but still, I don't know. Even if they do buy into all that bull, they never had a chance with a mom like that. I know the same could probably be said about the mom, and almost all racists... but, well, you know.

I think most people in the U.S. have probably committed a felony

Uh, what?

Have you committed a felony?

I think most people have probably committed at least an infraction before (i.e. exceeding the speed limit by any amount), but a felony?  Possibly even a misdemeanor for a majority (minor in possession of alcohol perhaps), but a felony - I find that hard to believe.  Can you elucidate?

This is hard. Pretty much anyone of those hate-spreading preachers whose only purpose aeems to be to demonize their enemies.

But Fred Phelps is definitely up there.

There are many fabulous ways to commit accidental, technical felonies online, with the way the statutes are written. (That's not necessarily to be taken as it seems, I'm also speaking of data access)

Most guys my age a little younger than me (ugh Tongue) with cell phones, in relationships, have probably committed a felony. (That is to be taken as it seems)

Maybe I overstepped, but you get the idea; this seems like a lame criteria.
