Cao would have lost the general if it was held on election day instead of a hurricane-modified special election. 
Especially if he had faced that blonde bimbo instead of Jefferson. Which might very well have happened if that (the primary runoff) hadn't been held on general election day.


Yeah, if Cao's smart he either starts voting like a Democrat very soon, preferrably in the past tense, and then runs for reelection as an independent. Or he runs for whatever statewide office is up and vacant in two years.
