Bgwah/Meeker have ten in the second count, not eleven, although they correctly have thirteen in the final count.

Oops...that kind of thing happens so quickly. Smiley

Thanks for the correction.

Now I'm not a media source, but I think we can pretty safely project that PiT, realisticidealist and HappyWarrior will safely win their respective seats, at this point.

Terribly surprising, huh? Smiley

At least the Northeast and Midwest are providing for suspense, something that isn't all that common with regional seats.

Midwest:

dead0man: 1 (dead0man)
MasterJedi: 2 (PBrunsel, Speed of Sound)
GMantis: 3 (Lewis, Sensei, Ilikeverin)
TCash: 3 (TCash, Jas, BRTD)
Lewis Trondheim: 1 (GMantis)

2nd count:

MasterJedi: 3 (PBrunsel, Speed of Sound, dead0man)
GMantis: 4 (Lewis, Sensei, GMantis, Ilikeverin)
TCash: 3 (TCash, Jas, BRTD)

MasterJedi has six expressed preferences to Cash's five, so Cash is eliminated.

3rd count:

MasterJedi: 4 (PBrunsel, Speed of Sound, dead0man, TCash)
GMantis: 5 (Lewis, Sensei, GMantis, Ilikeverin, Jas)
exhausted: 1 (BRTD)

silly me, 4/10 isn't really a majority, is it? Smiley

Bgwah/Meeker wins.

Smid wins.
HappyWarrior wins.
PiT wins.
Realisticidealist wins.

And a run-off in the Midwest.

At least the Senate races were somewhat exciting.....

I don't think Earl ever accepted write-ins for the Lief/Earl ticket, only Earl/Lief. I think that means those votes would automatically go to the next preference in the first round. Same with the invalid "Abolish regions" vote. Speed of Sound's VP doesn't actually exist, so I think his vote would be exhausted right away.

You may be right, but that's for the SOFA to decide Smiley

I'll leave it on because it looks nice!

The question I have, would I be able to vote for myself in the runnoff with GMantis?

Yes, I believe so.

Legally speaking, I'd consider it a different election, and you'll have been in the Midwest for a long enough time by the time that election starts to be eligible to vote.
