Thanks Dead...but I am sure any criticism of the messiah will be regarded as racist and you will be protrayed as wearing a hood and burning a cross.

He lives in Nebraska. Of course, he is a racist! Didn't you know that all Nebraskans were racist? I cannot believe these people stereotype like that. Never mind the other Nebraskans I met, but one admitted he didn't like blacks. Well, I didn't actually talk to him, but I heard from a friend that he said that. That means the others are just trying to hide it. Nebraska also voted for McBush. Then there is dead0man. It's just too obvious.

Get him!

Oh shut up.  Unlike you, dead0man is not a raving lunatic, and is therefore taken seriously.  I don't particularly care, because earmarks don't bother me unless they're for completely absurd things, but if Obama's going to say "no earmarks", then he should damn well make sure he hasn't requested any.

When did Obama take a no-earmark pledge during the campaign?

No, there is no "campaign pledge", but there is still some level of hypocrisy here.

So how does this contradict that Obama didn't request earmarks for the regular budget?

You're right.  As far as earmarks go, He has a perfect and consistent track record.  Why would I question His position on such things?  Who am I to go against His better judgement?
