Basically when the election was about to be called for Obama it was as few minutes before the liquor stores closed so I ran to the closest one from the party I was at and bought a forty in honor of our first black President.

I vote no.

40 ounces of beer, usually cheap beer...often of the "malt" variety.  Poor people of all kinds drink them, but black people rap about it so it's associated more with their culture than others.

Not racist in the conventional sense that you have something against blacks...but it does mean you did something completely based on the race of the person you were intending to honor...

That is stereotyping but not racism. As deadman said poors of all colors drink 40s so it is a little unfair to just associate them with black people.
