And we all know that the polls in 2002 were very accurate.

We can't judge accuracy on a race that never happened.

To me, this is a tossup if Christie can roughly match Corzine dollar to dollar, something not easy to do considering that NJ has probably the most expensive races in the country per capita, advertising-wise.

Christie is a serious enough of a candidate to earn GOP financial support, but it's up to the donors to figure this out.  There's no way the RNC could give any kind of credible financial boost to Christie.
