I'd invest a lot of money into oppo research.

That is all.

If I was Dodd's opponent, I wouldn't even bother to waste time campaigning.

Everyone knows Dodd is pretty much unbeatable.

He'll need either a scandal or a multitude of little scandals to break before the election, but considering that this is Dodd, that's not exactly an unreasonable requirement.

Like Edwards with his affair, I have no frickin' idea what that dud, Dodd, was doing running for president?  Does he think selling his position of influence can be made up with speaking Spanish fluently or something?  I suppose that exchange didn't work out for another candidate, too, now that I think about it.

unless obama is a total f'up, or they catch dodd in a bathroom stall with a 7 year old, ol' chris will win reelection comfortably.

Dodd could lose a primary challenge were a Democrat with statewide name recognition bold enough to run against him.  His ties to the economic "crisis" run deep, and don't just stop at his sweetheart loan from Countrywide.

I don't see the Republicans beating him without a truly stellar candidate.  There aren't tons of them in Connecticut, and Governor Rell's not running for Senate.
