This isn't really complete. I'll include the major offices and the office I ran for...

2006 primary

Governor - Lynn Swann (R)
Lt. Governor - Jim Matthews (R) (regret)
U.S. Senate - Rick Santorum (R)
U.S. House - Raj Bhakta (R) (regret)
State House - Dennis O'Brien (R)
Republican Committeemen - Myself and some guy (who I won't name) who was just put up to vote for someone I didn't want for Ward leader. The latter vote is an obvious regret. The guy didn't even show up to vote for himself.

2006 General

Governor/Lt. Governor - Lynn Swann/Jim Matthews (R) (mild regret. Probably should have written someone in)
U.S. Senate - Rick Santorum (R)
U.S. House - Write in for a local State Representative (R) (who I won't name and I mildly regret writing him in)
State House - Dennis O'Brien (R)

2007 primary

Mayor - Write in for Michael Nutter (D) (mild regret)
City Council - Brian O'Neill (R)
City Council At Large - David Oh (R)  (I forget if I voted for Rizzo)

2007 General

Mayor - Michael Nutter (D) (again, I have some mild regrets. I'm not happy with him recently but he was better than the others...)
City Council - Brian O'Neill (R)
City Council At Large - David Oh (R)  (90% sure I just voted for him and not Rizzo in the General)

2008 primary

President - John McCain (R)
Attorney General - Tom Corbett (R)
State Treasurer - Skipped this office
Auditor General - Chet Beiler (R)
U.S. House - Write in for State Representative Tom Murt (R)
State Senate - Skipped this office
State House - Dennis O'Brien (R)

2008 General

President/Vice President - John McCain/Sarah Palin (R)
Attorney General - Tom Corbett (R)
State Treasurer - Skipped this office
Auditor General - Chet Beiler (R)
U.S. House - Write in for State Representative Tom Murt (R)
State Senate - Skipped this office
State House - Dennis O'Brien (R/D)  (He won the Dem nomination 80% - 20% as a write in in the primary)

2008 primary (Democrats Abroad)

President: Barack Obama (D)

Obviously no other offices to vote for. I only voted through Democrats Abroad because they let 17 year olds vote...which I still was at that time. For the future I'll get my primary ballots from Illinois directly for everything.

2008 general election

President: Barack Obama/Joe Biden (D)
Senate: Richard Durbin (D)
U.S. House: Jerry Costello (D)
State Senate: Bill Haine (D) (not that there was anyone else on the ballot, but I DO approve of him.)
State House: Daniel Beiser (D) (ditto)
County Board Chairman: Hal Patton (I) (I regret voting for him...but I don't really like the Democrat much either.)

other county and local offices: There was no other office in which the Democrat was not unopposed (gotta love Madison County, right?)....in some cases I voted for the Democrat...in some cases I skipped the race.

Germany:

2009 Hesse State Election:    district vote: Silke Lautenschläger (CDU)
                                               party list vote: FDP

upcoming elections, my intentions:

2009 Euro elections: FDP
2009 Federal elections: undecided between CDU and FDP

Lemmeesee...

1997 local elections

Linkswende (lol) for the city council, Greens for the neighborhood council and the overpaid undertasked misboundaried regional assembly thingy we used to have whose abolution was one of the few good things Roland Koch has done. (There weren't any leftist protest options - besides PDS which I still refused to vote for at the time - available for the more meaningless councils, "forcing" me to throw away my city council vote.)

1998 federal elections
1999 state elections
Direct vote Chance 2000 (now that's a party I'd like to see running again Grin ), list vote Greens

1999 Euros
PDS.

2001 locals
I had 93 votes in that (and 19 for the neighborhood council). I don't remember where every single one went. Most went to Greens, with a few SPD, PDS (just these two for the neighborhood council), forum der unzufriedenen, Europe List, anti airport (possibly ÖkoLinx as well? I know I didn't vote for Ditfurth personally) preferences thrown in. Green candidate for mayor.

2001 mayoral runoff
SPD

2002 & 2005 Bundestag elections
Direct vote PDS/Left, list vote Greens

2003 state elections
Direct vote SPD, list vote Greens

2004 Euros
Greens

2006 locals
See above. Most votes Left, others Greens (quite a lot), SPD, Europe List, ÖkoLinx

2007 mayoral
Horst Schäfer, lefty independent who took 1.3%.

2008, 2009 state elections
SPD direct vote, Left list vote

projected:
2009 Euros - probably Greens
2009 federals - likely to decide between Greens and Left within the last couple of days. Again.

Who is your direct representative Lewis? I had figured Frankfurt would be an SPD stronghold but it appears to have a CDU mayor so I am interested now.

House:

2008: Patrick Kennedy (D); Mark Zaccaria (R)

Senate:

2008: Abstained (IIRC)

I actually cared way more about local races last year overall because they were more easily impacted and relevant to my day to day life.

Gregor Amann (SPD) for the Bundestag, Ralf-Norbert Bartelt (CDU) for the Landtag.
Frankfurt was an SPD stronghold once upon a time. It is a Green stronghold, and a Left stronghold, but certainly not an SPD stronghold anymore.

My voting record is that of a total hack. Wait. That isn't quite true; I cast a spoilt ballot in a parish council election a few years ago.

Did the SPD start losing (lots of) ground in Frankfurt around the same time as other big cities?

Basically. Local particulars vary, obviously. In some of the historically catholic major cities, the SPD is in a stronger position now than in the 50s (but certainly not the 70s).

Not old enough, but this is how I would have voted since 2000 if living in Ottawa, Ontario but also registered to vote in France.

2000 Federal: Green
2003 Provincial: Green
2003 Local: Ike Awgu (a student)
2004 Federal: Green
2006 Federal: Green
2006 Local: Alex Munter (Ind NDP) for Mayor, spoil ballot for councillor and school trustee whatever. lol Canadian local elections.
2007 Provincial: Green
2008 Federal: Green

Whenever the next federal election is, I'll vote Green again. In the 2010 local elections, if I can vote, I'll vote against Larry O'Brien and my councillor, even if the opposition is a joke. In the 2011 provincial elections, I'll either vote Green or Liberal.

2002 Presidential: Alain Madelin (DL), Jacques Chirac (RPR) in runoff
2004 Euros: CPNT or PRG
2005 Referendum: YES
2007 Presidential: Sarkozy (UMP) both rounds back then, with hindsight Nihous (CPNT) in first round and Sarkozy (UMP) in runoff
2009 Euros: UMP for lack of alternative

In 2012, I'll vote for Sarkozy, probably in both rounds. Might protest vote for the CPNT candidate in the first round.

2006 state: Independent (pref. ALP)
2007 state by-election: Ausdems (pref. Greens [ALP/Greens, no Libs])
2007 federal: Ausdems (pref. ALP)

state and fedral elections next year. I expect to preference the ALP again federally, although I quite like Turnbull. At state, i'm completely up in the air...Libs get my vote if they spend big on transport infrastructure; labor if they cut pokies...or vice versa...whatever. We'll see in a year+.
