I have trouble seeing how anyone can top George Washington. Without him, everything that the other Founders did would have been moot. Washington not only led our Country to Independence, but he then kept it together under the new Constitution. Without Washington, our Country would’ve likely fallen apart; no other Leader could do what Washington did. You can argue the importance of Adams, Jefferson, Madison, etc., but they’re achievements are all dependent on Washington.
