..and if I tried to give Democrats sh**t for this I'd correctly be labeled an idiot.  Yet broad brushes paint libertarians this color on a weekly basis.  Democrats pride themselves on being open minded and against stereotypes, yet they are as bad as anybody else.

You understandably get a lot more crap for stereotyping 30% of the population than you do 2% though.

And of course, EVERYONE stereotypes and Democrats are just as guilty of it as everyone else.  It's a psychological inclination to help understand things you've yet to encounter yet.  Like, say, the last red berries I ate were poisonous, I don't trust these green&red ones I see before me that look really similar.
