Just a bit confused, no offense meant either way.
My school doesn't use letter codes. They just give a raw percentage. Teachers also give you a mark "excellent, good, satisfactory, needs improvement" on stuff like punctuality, team work, organization. They also need to select 3 comments from a list of pre-made comments (that often make no sense, ironically. For example, in Tech last year, I got a "Needs to improve manual work skills" wtflol.)
Then there's the whole IB coding, from a 1 to a 7. 4 is needed to pass. The percentage range assigned to each value 1-7 changes from assignment to assignment based on the class average. Yeah, IB is a bunch of lousy bureaucrats who
love to make stupid rules.
