Does anybody have a theory on San Miguel County? I checked the census bureau and apparently it's 87.6% white.... Do whites just vote really liberal there or is there something behind it?

Like several other Democratic-leaning counties in Colorado, it's a ski resort area, and hence full of white liberals.

That's what I thought. So similarly Pitkin and Summit counties are also ski resorts. There are some counties that are truly Hispanic in south central Colorado which I can understand, but what is the mind set behind ski resorts and what makes them so liberal? These are pretty small counties and don't make much of a difference, but they still make you wonder why.
