Old news but you know what?  My uncle lives out there and says farms are being force to destroy their fruit trees and many crops because they cant get water.  And why? Because some left wing liberal tree hugger of a judge says they have to conserve water in order to save some fish called a smelt.  This is shades of the spotted owl.  or snail darter.

How stupid can this country get?

I don't understand why someone would prefer a spotted owl to hundreds of jobs in the lumber industry.  or Why someone would save a smelt instead of preserving farms in California that bring in millions into the state economy.  That was my one criticism of Bush (for those who say I agree with everything he did, I did not) he was way to pro environment.  This happened on his watch and he could have fought it through the courts.

But the main thing is, now that obama is President we are going to have it almost as bad as if Algore were the pres.  And people wonder why our economy is tanking?  Maybe if we prefered humans to fish and owls, things would be better.
