There's an object out there called a "dictionary", and I do believe you'll find it very useful in looking up the words 'socialist' and 'liberal', as neither of which mean what you think they do.

Probably his most likable quality, I have found, is how comfortable he seems to be talking about himself.  I don't mean in a bragging kind of way, or in a way that tried really hard to "weave a personal narrative" like with the President.  Rather, he simply seems to be very open, honest, and unpretentious about his personality, his past, his strengths, his weaknesses, etc.

I don't like watching or playing soccer.  But I sure admire the people who do play it.  You have to be incredibly fit.  Isn't it one of the more heart-healthy sports, too?

My nieces were all high school soccer stars and I was proud as can be of them.  But I do admit to a certain boredom watching.  Until their teammates go to the 16-18 age range.  Suddenly, I was riveted again...  (Please ignore my uncle.  He is a filthy old man.)

I can't decide who'd be more fun as an uncle: Torie or JSojourner.
