I´m gonna buy a new car in July/August, but which one ?

I´ll sell my 10 year old VW Vento, leaving me with about 30.000$ to spend for the new car.

Among the top cars my friends and I have considered so far:

Opel Astra GTC Style (~ 25.000-30.000$)Sad

Audi A3 Sportsback (~ 25.000-30.000$)Sad

Fiat Bravo Sport (~ 20.000-25.000$)Sad

Seat Ibiza Sport (~ 20.000-25.000$)Sad

VW Golf VI (~ 20.000-25.000$)Sad

...

Maybe I should wait another 2 years or so, so I can buy either of these 40.000-50.000$ cars:

VW Passat CC:

Audi S3 Sportsback:

Any other suggestions from you ?

Personally speaking, I love the VW Passat....but it's definitely more expensive.

From the cheaper ones....I'd take the Audi A3.

That's just me though....you need to decide which one you like Wink

Sry, I´m not living in Paris and certainly don't want to drive in a can ... Wink

Besides: I hate pink cars, or the colour pink in general ... Tongue

Don't get a two/three door, you'll regret it.

The Astra is a good car, but the Golf is probably better. Audis are always cool, but i'd avoid the Fiat and the Seat. If it were me, i'd go with the golf.

Go for the Fiat Bravo Sport because apparently you get a bunch of hot girls when you buy it.

If the girls are not included go for the A3. Audis = awesome.

So you're deciding between a bunch of dorky little hatchbacks and a VW Passat that looks like a Mercedes?  Go with the one that's not a hatchback and looks like a Mercedes.

Sorry, I just had a severe negative reaction to all of those cars, and even more so to the idea of wasting $30,000 on any car.

I think the Passat wins hands down here, so I would wait unless you need the car now, in which case I would go with the Astra.

AHAHAHAHA dude you should totally get one of those. Autorickshaws own anything else that moves.

But seriously though why are those cars so expensive? Those hatchbacks wouldn't be worth more than 15K over here.

There's no way you can find a VW Golf or Audi A3 for $15.000.

Actually, I doubt you can find any of these cars for that price.

get the golf. VWs are generally solid cars. Except the beetle that exploded on my dad in '76.

Suggest the Audi, or one of the VWs.

Avoid Fiat.

While we're on the subject of pretty, practical, small things that move...

They can go where no car can!

A common sight in small old Italian city centres o/c, but there's one parked in my neighborhood.

Well.. I guess you live in Austria, right?  I doubt they have any cars I would like in Austria.  Maybe something like this:
