Unless the candidates would like to give a speech to voters. We should start now.
Yes. Perhaps we should wait for Justice KEmperor to open voting though
Oh yeah.
This is all our ballot is at the moment:

Please hit quote to fill in/cast ballot. To vote, place an X between the "[]" next to the candidate's name, place write-in candidates in the "{u}{/u}" tags.

A little later than intended I would like for the voting to begin for the United Atlas Centrist Presidential Candidate.
The candidates are as follows:
Senator Nation (UAC-NY)
Senator Hughento (AFIP-IA)
Mr. Hobbes (UAC-CA)
Senator Harry (D-MS)
Write In(?-?)
All members of the United Atlas Centrist party are free to vote.
The voting should close sometime on Monday or Tuesday and more discussion of the platform will commence along with several speeches. I apologise that we are not running to the schedule we hoped to and as a result the convention will probably last throughout the next week.

*Senator Nation takes the podium after partying with the rockin roll band!*
Well, Mr. Don -- you are correct my friend, I should probably be a little more positive in my posts, hah. But as to what I WOULD do to improve education, I would send a message that we cannot fix a flawed system in one day -- it takes time. But a step in the right direction would be the REST of the UAC plank that I did not mention, and even what itself failed to mention, that being MUCH more local and state control over education. Communities should not have the federal government dictate what needs to be done -- who knows better then the communities themselves?
And for the communities who, to put it nicely, can't make decisions for themselves, I would encourage city and state governments to slowly and carefully set up charter schools that would be co-run with private enterprises such as the Edison Corporation.
I am aware that in order to improve life for many, to raise wages, to reduce crime -- it all comes back to education. Education is key, and will be a focal point of a Nation Administration. Thank you.

Just a quick message to my 'staff'-thank you, and we're still in this!
Many members of the UAC agree that the moderate vote should not be split, and the rest left to vote are free to check out the website,

or to have a read of my speeches.

Senator Nation Calls for Better Beer
Senator Nation made a slightly drunken call on Monday morning for "something better than this Red Dog crap" for alcoholic beverages at the UAC convention. More on this as it develops.

A plea to the remaining UAC voters for the primaries:
My fellow members, I ask that you give me the great honor of representing you in the seat of the Presidency -- since the first day of the creation of our party, I have been one of the strongest members to pursue our interests, next to our fine President Kennedy. I helped shape the original platform of the party, and have always been at our defense, when other individuals have relentlessly attacked us, sometimes for our
existence
, let alone our policies.
If you nominate me, I will continue to uphold what our party believes in, and what I believe in as an individual, just as I have in my role as UAC Secretary, and in the senate. Thank you.

Looks like it's Nation in the lead, but Hugh is a good candidate and still might pull it off if a lot of last minute support comes through.

Those are both good candidates who would make fine presidents. But after a lot of consideration I've decided, mostly due to a desire for us to unite behind one moderate ticket, to cast my vote for

UAC Delegates:
Nation: 1387.5
Hughento: 812.5
Not Allocated: 400
Needed to win: 1,301
Although Nation has passed the required needed to win, 1 vote in either the Pacific, Northeast, or Midwest for Hughento coukd make the race competitive again. Nobody from Mideast has voted. Somebody find Ben or WalterMitty.
