Question...
Does anyone think Bloomberg would have a shot beating Obama as a Republican in 2012, if, let's say Obama's approval rating is between 40-50%?

No because Bloomberg would have a 0.5% chance at the GOP nomination.

Ok, maybe I was being too generous.

Let's say he was the nominee...
I think he would, due to the fact that most Republicans will want Obama out, so will vote for Bloomberg, as well as Bloomberg's appeal to Independents.
I think he would have won in 2008 as the Republican nominee. I really do...

Even though tons of us would have not supported him.

Gene Taylor would have a better chance at winning the Democratic nomination than Bloomberg would have of winning the Republican nomination.

Speaking of Bloomberg, he's funny.

It's funny but I like the Examiner, so. Sad

Mmm. Endorsed, I guess. The Democrats won't run anyone serious and it's only a mayor race anyway.

LOL.  Only a mayoral race?  New York City is larger than most states.  Being mayor of New York City is akin to being a state governor.
