She'd certainly act more like the president and speak in a capable, disarming manner.

I'm still amazed Palin ever became Governor of Alaska. That is just an astounding FAIL.

I believe BRTD made a poll in 2005 claiming Emsworth was more qualified for the SCOTUS than was Harriet Miers.

This is just pathetic. Worst poll ever
Fey has no political experience. Palin doesn't have a lot, but at least she has some.

She had more experience than a community organizer.

A senator for 2 years before running for president. She was a governor for 2 years before running for VP. Governor > Senator.

No? So being 1 out of 100 people is better than running an entire state?

Of course, Rowan. This is especially true when the state that you are "running" contains only about a 100 people. Tongue

The population of Alaska is 683,478, give or take a few hundred. So you are over 683,000 off.

Being a governor involves more work than being a member of Congress, and better correlates to being President.  But we're humping a dead horse here.

Is there any hope that our Democrat friends on this site would take a holiday from typing out Palin's name, and hitting the "post" button?  It is all like a bad dream and I would like it to end. Please help me!

PS: There are a fair number of folks on this very site that are more capable to serve than Palin, and I mean that seriously. Has Palin ever claimed to have read a book, and if so, I wonder what titles she named?  Her truncated vocabulary suggests to me that reading just isn't her bag. What do you think?

Indeed, since that is merely your opinion and I strongly disagree with it. For instance, how can one excuse the complete lack of experience in foreign affairs that tends to be a staple of those serving in governorships in times like these... meh... nevermind...

One cannot excuse complete lack of experience in foreign policy matters.  I just said that being a governor better correlates to being President (the most obvious reason being that they're both executive positions), not that the two are completely identical.   And are you really going to argue that a senator has a heavier workload than a governor?
