This funeral is for my youth minister's 8-week old granddaughter.  Yes, you read that right - 8 WEEK old.  Poor girl had some heart problems from birth and I think that's what claimed her life.  They were going to do an autopsy on the baby before the funeral, and I haven't found out the results, yet, but I will ask tomorrow or Wednesday night and get back with you.  Please keep me and the family in your prayers as tomorrow will undoubtedly be a very rough day.  I am thankful that the family has a very strong faith and that is what is and will get them through this otherwise hopeless and unfathomable tragedy.

That was easily the hardest thing I had to do in my life.  I don't wish that on my worst enemy.  It turns out the little 8-week-old baby girl died from SIDS.  The mother fed her around 11:00 Wednesday night, April 15, and when she went to check on her at 2:00 am Thursday, she was already dead.
