True. But I doubt more than a handful of those 53% white are living there in November. I've been there, about five years ago, on Thanksgiving. The Native presence is quite obvious while the mansions are, well, not. Not in the way they are in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven (Tisbury), anyway. Local politics is supposed to be completely dominated by the Wampanoag.
