I actually think 1960 Barry Goldwater would be a much better VP pick than in 1964. He had voted for the 1957 and 1960 Civil Rights act and still fresh off his book
The Conscience of a Conservative. He's the best way to unify the party, and since him and Jack were such good friends I think the Campaign would probably very civil...But I think Bush/Goldwater would win out as they would better able to articulate themselves as heirs to the Esinhower White House.
