I wanted to see how this would break down.

I vote no, btw, because of my good buddy, Mr. Calc.

Absolutely. It is what I most mastered, and indeed in which I make my living. In fact, outside of that zone,  I weaken considerably. My only other strong suit is history, assuming you consider that part of the humanities. I assume economics is considered a social science. If it isn't, well I claim some strength in that field too I think.

100%. I can't stand math and the "normal" sciences.

Eh, I think I'm about evenly good/interested in the humanities and social sciences. Just hate regular sciences and math.

Of course. My weak points would be math and science and I have a lovely mix of the two in my Geology lab exam on Tuesday.  Sad  And the hot girl can't help me then either so I guess I'll just fail.

I do fine with the social sciences, particularly political science, economics and statistical analysis of social behavior. However, since my earliest years math and the physical sciences have been my forte.

They're certainly what I'm most interested in, as presently defined.  But someday I shall see psychology moved into the natural sciences, muahahahaha >: )

Actually, the only social science I care about is political science, and maybe some economics. I excel in English and Math, though I love anything to do with science, especially astronomy. (I am taking a life in the universe class this quarter; it is awesome. Smiley)

Very true.

At ANU also.

We also have a different understanding of social sciences - here's what the website says:

As much as ANU is among the strongest universities in the world in this area, I think they've got the definition wrong. Either way, its my academic interest, but I generally get better marks in English.

As I've said before, my strong suit academically was art and music, but most people don't consider that academics nowadays (not to mention the fact that very little of it is actually going on creatively anyways).  I always think that a person's strongest suit is what he can excel in without putting any real effort to get the basics (i.e. comes naturally) and yet still enjoy the subject material.

Was always strong at statistics, economics, sociology, law, history, political science, those types of things  Never as strong as the above though.

Yes but I am decent at Humanities type stuff as well, along with Music I guess. The only things I am abnormally good at are social sciences.

Yup. I'm also good at English. Not so good in math, downright sucky in science.

Difficult to say.  In high school, I was good at biology, sucked at chemistry, and was good at physics.  Once I got to college, I did better in hard sciences than in social sciences (I was in the Physician's Assistant program before deciding to get my degree in Finance).  In law school, I'm basically a numbskull.

I guess, sort of. My strongest subjects are probably economics, philosophy, history, social science. I'm good with languages and math, but not brilliant. Stuff like mangement, marketing or sociology I don't really get. I get decent grades in that kind of stuff too though.

I find that I'm good with numbers, have a good memory and I'm a fast reader. That's enough to do "well" in pretty much every subject I encounter without having to be interested or talented in that particular subject.
