No options, just pick a country (or countries) that you believe has a system that we should try an adapt and impliment. I ask this because I am wary of us building a system from scratch that has no comparison internationally. Atlasia at present can be easily compared to the US for example.

EDIT: Damn, wrong thread. Can this be moved?

Countries for me, instead of one country. My original proposal for parliamentary bicameralism, which is being followed rather closely to date, includes stuff from France's Fourth Republic, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and South Africa.

From France, the vote of confidence in a government after a PM is elected. A President with more limited powers, but the Presidential power to dissolve Parliament. From Slovakia, a directly elected President but with more limited powers. From the Czech Republic (and other places), full bicameralism with two directly elected houses. From South Africa, the legislature electing the Prime Minister (in ZA, it's the President, but whatever).

We reflect a very elitist US government. I wouldn't mind simply expanding the government to a full out US version with a House and all its implications. Would make things more exciting I think.

While I realize there are many participants who are not Americans, I believe the purpose of this game is to simulate American politics.  This site is dedicated primarily to United States presidential elections (this is uselectionatlas.org).  I strongly object to the usage of terms such as "Parliament" and "Prime Minister".  That game will simulate British/Canadian style politics, rather than US, and it is my belief that such a game will not attract as many new participants as the current game does.  Someone posted that we set a new record for votes cast in the current election.  It seems the current game does attract new players.

Well, we kind-of do already emulate Israel a little, what with our single nation-wide electoral district and everything. Making the game MORE like Israel though would just be silly. Ben do you even know what Israel's political system is like? How do you propose Atlasia imitate it?
