I think this would be as close to a generic economic left vs. economic right breakdown as you can get.

I applaud him for being such a strong proponent of the theory that Obama really won Kentucky but the Republican cheats stole it from Barack.

Wait, is that what the story is this week?  Whatever happened to the "Obama will lose every county because he's a warmonger" theory?:

Dude, you're not a leftist and I can pretty much guarantee you that you'd do a lot better than bandit.

That's because I'm not nearly as controversial a figure. Spade has a lot more enemies, & a divisive left-winger will generally beat a divisive right-winger on the forum. It's pretty close though since Sam Spade is still much more likeable than Bandit.

I disagree that bandit is "controversial."  He's a clear enough loon that people (largely) don't feel threatened by him.  That's why he's more popular than Spade, not because of ideology.

So they vote FF because he makes them feel superior? I'm sure a sizeable percentage does that, but I doubt everyone who votes FF thinks that. I doubt that, for example, PD would poll as well, even though he was just as much of a total loon.
