The next round will be an immunity round; the first person who claims immunity will get it - but they won't be able to vote. Maybe it will be best to go straight for immunity, maybe it will be better to wait a little bit and see which candidates are in danger...

Wasn't he the world's longest-serving head of state besides monarchies after Castro stepped down? Who's the current record holder?

Yes, he was.

Muammar al-Gaddafi is the current one, he got to power in 1969

A reminder that this round will be an immunity round; you can either vote OR claim immunity for your preferred leader. First person to claim immunity gets it, but they can claim it whenever.

Also, you'll only be able to claim immunity in one of the two groups.

Also, un breve comunikay:

editing votes is no longer allowable. If you do it, you'll be banned from participating in the following round and you're vote won't count. If you are caught deleting and reposting in order to change you're vote, the penalty iwill be far more severe - a five-round ban, and limited rights for the rest of ther stage thereafter.

It makes it more tactical, I think.

(NOTE: Any edits completed before this message or within 2 minutes thereafter will be passed without incident)

Can Ernest give us an update on total votes of leaders? Morales has no doubt dethroned Chavez as the top vote-getter by now.

I wonder who it was last time. Schroeder?

Shouldn't these be the thirthy-third rounds? Since two leaders were eliminated last round.

I thought so, but wasn't sure. Third opinion, anyone?

Also, the next round will be an immunity round in which the first poster to claim immunity gets it, the only rule being that they can't do so in both groups.

Even with a full extra day of voting, round 33 has had the lowest turnout so far, with just eleven voters in each group.

I strongly encourage you all to pester people by PM to help you out, or just to get involved. I have absolutely no problem with ballot box stuffing to get rid of leaders like Ansip or Morales, or even Obama or Merkel.

-----------

Also, I broke a tie in Group B, in favour of a real leader of a real country Cheesy
