I've got to have pissed off a handfull of blue avatars by now...and at least two or three red guys....and some of the Euros...and all the English majors...everybody from New Jersey.... and GPorter.

There's a lot of posters who don't even comment much on political issues, more procedural stuff.  muon2, RBH and jimrtex.  Smid is definitely up there, being consistently respectful and kind; and Joe is pretty equal-opportunity.  Then there's a lot of more opinion-vocal posters that aren't controversial because of how they present themselves -- Lunar (mostly ), Torie, The Mikado, Paul.

Even guys with strong, outward opinions, but present things without taking themselves or their views too seriously, like dead0man, are pretty "uncontroversial."  I don't think it's about being a doormat.

What is the "official" forum definition of "Moderate Hero" again?  How does one manage to be at once moderate, but not a "Moderate Hero?"
