Seriously, all of this "Liberty or death" macho rhetoric really misses the point of how much it'd suck to die, to be blunt.

No. Period. Never.

I could never see you being a part of a resistance movement.

Sure I could be. I would have, I hope, tried to off Hitler if given the opportunity.  But I would never be a Commie. Ever. And it isn't about protecting my life style - at all. (I don't need much money to be happy really, when push comes to shove.) It is more about what it means to live the "good" life to me, in a larger sense.

The problem here, is that if the Communists had done in that particular clown, they would have never let go. They don't like letting go, as you know.  The way it worked out in the end, vis a vis Italy at least, turned out to be a better outcome.

The communists DID do in Mussolini though. They are the ones who killed him.

They just got to him first. He would have been killed anyway.
