Which of these are most likely to change in 2010?  Hawaii and California are both good bets to get Democratic governors.  Rhode Island might get one too, depending on Chafee.  New Hampshire is on track to get Senator Hodes and turn red as well.

NY Dems might re-lose State Senate

I didn't think Georgia was that Republican.
It's the ultra-conservative suburbs.  In Mississippi and Alabama, for example, rural conservatives still tend to vote Democrat on the local and (sometimes) statewide level.

PA would be one if not for the State Senate.  Hopefully we get a Dem gov in 2010 and a favorable redistricting.

I don't see much of a chance of that happening.  What seats would they lose?

Washington has been on this list since 2005... I wonder how long we'll last. Until 2013 at least, I suppose.

Oh, and Tennessee will probably turn Atlas red.
In 2010? How will Tennessee lose its two Republican senators?

That's as likely as TN Republicans losing their state senate, IMO.

Texas is wrong. The State House is a coalition with a Republican Speaker. Granted its not an equal coalition like Alaska. More like MA 1996-2004 with Finneran relying on Republican support to remain in office.

The Texas House is still majority-Republican in terms of composition, though.
