I have no idea what you're talking about.  ....ahh, the "crime" thing I guess.  Yeah, being attacked by a bear isn't a CRIME, my bad.  I don't know how much crime takes place in National Parks, did somebody actually bring that up somewhere or were you trying to be clever in your first post?

Statement of Purpose

"To protect innocent Americans from violent crime in national parks and refuges."
Alrighty then, color me embarassed.  I'd be much more worried about wildlife in the deep woods than I would be about a guy trying to snatch my wallet.

I suppose a lot of National Parks are not what I think of when I think of National Parks.  When I hear National Parks I think Yellowstone and Joshua Tree, but I guess they include places where you are a little more likely to have an asshat try and grab your wallet like the National Mall or Golden Gate Park.

I don't think Golden Gate is a national park (though the ability to carry a gun to protect oneself from crime there would be much appreciated).

It is but it isn't.  According to wiki it is the second most visited National Park.  link

This is what it says on it's own page

I'm not sure if it falls under this new rule or not...I'd assume it does.

Golden Gate Park != Golden Gate National Recreation Area
