Olds  greater than 75
Youngs under 30

One's  parameters lengthen with the passage of time, like a fine wine.

Their relation to me is that they are adjetives that I use in properly formed sentences with those things they modify called "nouns". Silly concept, I know.

Young: = or < 25
Old: = or > 50 (but usually relies on the personality and how old they look)

Its funny, I suppose some might say I 'coined the term' olds in the usage here... but I find when I read it I just think of these:

Ah, America.. as much as I malign what you've become, now that you're gone, I'll miss you.

For me?

You're considered "old" if you were born before 1980.

Your'e considered "young" if you were born after 1990.

Of course I'm talking in relation to my social circle.

Youngs: People who don't remember the Cold War.
Olds: People who do remember life before Star Wars (the movie, not the missile defense system).
