In the first round:
Gov. Sarah Palin (91%) def. Gov. Dirk Kempthorne (9%)
Gov. Mitt Romney (98%) def. Gov. Mitch Daniels (2%)
Gov. Mike Huckabee (85%) def. Gov. Tom Ridge (15%)
Gov. Tim Pawlenty (71%) def. Rep. Eric Cantor (29%)
Gov. Charlie Crist (67%) def. Rep. Mike Pence (33%)
Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr. (71%) def. Gov. Haley Barbour (29%)
Sen. John Thune (50%) loses to Gov. Mark Sanford (50%) on a tiebreak (my vote is worth 1 + epsilon here)
Gov. Bobby Jindal (59%) def. Sen. John Ensign (41%)
With the narrow defeat of Senator Thune, we are down to 8 Governors...a bit of a scary result.
As was the case last week, please cast four votes, one in each lettered matchup. In each matchup, please vote for the candidate you consider most likely to win the nomination, not the candidate whom you would prefer to win the nomination.
This week's matchups:
A: Gov. Sarah Palin (AK) v. Gov. Bobby Jindal (LA)
B: Gov. Mitt Romney (MA) v. Gov. Mark Sanford (SC)
C: Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR) v. Gov. Jon Huntsman, Jr. (UT)
D: Gov. Tim Pawlenty (MN) v. Gov. Charlie Crist (FL)
Voting will end the afternoon of Thursday, May 21.
