Oh, I thought this was some terrible libertarian Ayn Rand/Ron Paul wet dream ticket.

You think he named his son Rand as a coincidence?

A regular Maddow viewer I see, Lunar. Tongue

Actually, I read on the interweb that he was going to be on the show to make an important announcement, so I switched over from the history channel just to hear what it was.  I assumed it was to announce.

By the way, I never even realized this until you brought it up [lief, not me].

[thanks for the explanation of "rand" -- that makes Ron Paul less crazy that he didn't name his kid that]

The Kentucky GOP primary right now is so confusing, it's one crazy guy and two guys that have already declared they'll run but won't run against the crazy guy.  The two other people are big proponents of Bunning.  Crazy.

KY Secretary of State Trey Grayson should be the odds-favorite at this point, but the Paul network is nothing to sneeze at in a low-turnout primary.  He's credible, but at a severe disadvantage.  Everything is so muddled right now that I wouldn't give Paul NO chance.

I won't comment further on Rand's chances 'till we hear more.
