True.  Gladiator's time period is more interesting, even with all of its historical inaccuracies.

The Patriot was far better.

Oh and btw, from the last movie thread, which is now locked:

To Sam Spade - why would you stop being a fan of Woody Allen's film-making just because he has supposedly 'gone child molester'?  I don't see how that has any bearing on the quality or value of his films.

(and anyway that korean girl is an old.. she must be like 30 now)

The Patriot. I didn't really like Gladiator and it doesn't help that I can't stand Russel Crowe.
