In Texas we also vote for a bunch of judges and random stuff. I mostly voted straight ticket D, though occasionally R or L if the Austin Chronicle told me otherwise.

Tuesday will be a perfect example of why I can never keep an accurate track of who I'm voting for in every election. This year, we have a lot of our local and state judges up. I know who I'm voting for in some major races but there are a bunch of others that I'll either skip or I'll forget to record who I'm voting for/against and why. I hate voting for judges. Hate it.

When it comes to judges, it got so bad to the point I was picking on last name at one point..

2004:
kerry/edwards (d)
voinovich (r)
no on gay marriage
...and other crap

2006:
brown (d)
no on smoking ban
...and other crap

2008:
obama/biden (d)
kaptur (d)
...and other crap

Biggest regret: The gay marriage vote in 2004. I stayed in the booth for about 10 minutes and have regretted that ever since (even though I know it would have made no difference).
