Cheers from the crowds
THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! Ladies and Gentleman, we did it! More cheers You did it, you knocked on doors, distributed that street money, went into neighborhoods, even those that weren't considered winnable. You distributed signs, flyers, and cards. You got your friends and family out to vote early and often. You not only walked you crawled over the broken glass to get to the polls. Latinos, African Americans, Asians, and whites. Young and old. RPPer, Populares, JCPers, DCPers, indies and members of various third parties. Today you sent a message that you want accountability, you want ethical and effective leadership. You want a committment to good gov't and promoting activity. In the next four months, I plan to best Regional Senator I can be.

Thank you and Dave bless you!!!!

I fully support your reelection as well, although you certainly don't need my embarrassing support.

Truth is, you're one of the most effective and dedicated members of the Senate and entire Atlasia would suffer, if you quit.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have come here today to announce that I have made my decision on whether or not to run for another term in the Atlasian Senate. This has been a difficult decision and one has gone back and forth as to which course I would take with each passing day since Christmas. The decision making process was in tense and difficult and I am sure you will be glad to know the what the result of my long spell of pondering has been. The Senate clearly faces many difficulties ahead and it is need of some much needed improvements as it seems that everyone who tries to run the damn thing ends up looking stupid. It is partially with this in mind that I have made my decision. Over the past few days I have seen a great deal of foolishness displayed and a lot of nonesense with tiny bits of worthy substance sprinkled in the cracks and crevices being sold as a Presidential race. You folks should get your money back. Tongue This was also on my mind when I made my decision. Over the past term we have seen a lot of people who are not serious all of the time, a lot of people who are not serious some of the time, and still more people who are too serious all of the time. Whats worse is there are people are serious at the right times and those who are the opposite. When it comes to seriousness it is criticially important that we get serious soon, and we take the seriously the process of getting serious about seriousness and advocate and encourage people to take the right things seriously inspite of this being just a game, and still let it be a game. And in case you have any doubts, this is a serious announcement, seriously. This has also been on my mind lately. Another thing that has been on my mind is the fact that inspite of the introduction and full debate which was very heated, nothing has been done to resolve the essential gap in our Senate procedures dealing with vacancies. It was a very telling excercize to see people oppose my proposal and then offer no alternatives on something that quite frankly needs something to be done. The Stimulus, seemed to be a very non-stimulating affair. You should get your money back their also. Next time, try Viagra. An emergency situation that should have been done in a short period of time took almost a month and some change. This is unnacceptable. This is an outrage. Its an unnacceptable outrage. As you can see, I have deep and important concerns about these events. There are many more, too many to fully describe in one sitting. I will say that it is for these reasons that I have made my decision and I look forward to acting on that decision very soon.

Thank you, and god bless.

hehe they really thought they were going to find our today whether I was running again or not Evil

I seriously hope these premature endorsements don't lead to premature assumptions by others who are wise enough to be cautious before assuming what I will be doing. Tongue

Yea, that is why I delayed this long. I didn't like how early some of the Feb races were starting nad wanted to make a statement about it. Sadly it has fallen flat. oh well.
