Here is a link to an article explaining it if you're unfamiliar with the bill.

I don't know. The general impression I get from this bill is it is simply a democrat-lite solution. I don't like the new regulations nor that it doesn't seem to address modernization and tort reform. At least they're trying instead of just saying no. What do you guys think?

Tax credits are a non-solution. What we need to do is scrap our current entitlements, regulations, etc.  and start from the ground up with a compulsory insurance system. Something similar to Switzerland pretty much, but managed at the state level. I think some aspects of Wyden's proposed bill could work but the bottom line is the last forty years or so have been an absolute disaster.

I didn't look at the link, as I'm already familiar with the GOP.  Poor killers.

However, its worth noting that the Democrats unlikely to be much different.
