For a long time, I have intended to amend the Constitution of the Midwest, in order to remove certain clauses, which in my opinion harmed democracy and put our region in a bad light. For various reasons I have been unable to do so until now. Seeing that midwestern citizens have now requested an
amendment dealing with similar issues, I have realized that I cannot delay any longer. Therefore the following amendment proposals will be placed on the ballot next Friday, the 29th of May:
Amendment I:
Section I, Article II, Clause I is amended to read as follows:
The election of the ilikeverin shall take place on the third weekend of the months of April, August and December on the Gregorian calendar. The election will begin on the Friday of that weekend, and will end one week later.
Amendment II:
Section I, Article II, Clause II is hereby repealed.
Amendment III:
To Section I, Article III is added Clause V, to read as follows:
In case of the ican'tbelieveit'snotverinship falling vacant, a special election will be held on the next weekend, under the rules of the regular election.
Amendment IV:
Section II, Article I, Clause VI is amended to read as follows:
Voting shall be held by the means of Instant-runoff Voting
Amendment V:
The twenty-fourth Amendment is hereby repealed.

You may post here any suggestions or criticisms to my proposals.
