I dunno about that. It only had 1300 votes, with basically the same amount as 2004(+100), except about 350 Bush voters went to Barr and Baldwin.

Precinct 2 accidentally attributed McCain's votes to Bob Barr and Obama's votes to Chuck Baldwin.

The correct total should be:

John McCain 873     65.59%
Barack Obama 395     29.72%
Other 61     4.69%
         
(I am not sure which one should be Barr, and which should be Baldwin...)

I think they actually certified these results, which makes them tremendously stupid.

I'm going to call them tomorrow for an official statement on why they be tremendous stupids like that.  And to figure out which one is Barr, and which one is Baldwin, of course.

Does anyone have any confirmation of the "correct" (not "official") results here?  I want to fix it in the atlas data to reflect reality and put a note that the data is different than "official".

I'd do it the other way round - leave the official tally up, include a note with the real tally.

Same in lake, TN... if we knew what belongs to whom in the real tally.

IMO the vote should be :
McCain 873
Obama 405
Baldwin 12
Barr 11
Nader 28

Adjust for order of returns, and then reverse Obama and McCain.
