I should think that the outcome of this poll should be obvious, but we'll wait for the poll to expire before this can become apparent.

Oh, my, a hilarious race!

I actually think Sam would tear him a new one or it would be close. People like Sam's attitude and loathe Al's nonsense.

I have much to say about this race, but I'll post much longer about this later on. With a graph, perhaps.

I've no doubt there'll be a lot we agree on about this in many respects, but we'll continue this later.

Al/Spade.

Spade carries West Virginia.

Al attracts a large following, but his socialist tendencies and use of obscure Welsh words alienate most of the American public.  During the debates, Spade's vague answers and calls to "be patient" fail to inspire confidence.  In spite of this, Spade leads in the polls until he makes an off-hand comment to a group of hecklers, calling them "f****ts".  In the end, Spade wins the election by a decent margin, while losing 100% of the gay vote.  Al returns to Wales, living with the indignity of losing nearly every precinct in West Virginia and Kentucky.

Spade would clearly win; that's without question.

While I like Spade (though me and him would probably hate each other if we ever met in real life) I would have to go with Al.

My beard is a bit like that now, though the moustache is nowhere near as impressive.

Mine was almost like that but I just trimmed it today.

This should break roughly along party lines.

Yeah, I agree.

Established, sane political party members go for Sam. The United Mine Workers That Nobody Cares About party members should still go for their hero.

There are no such parties in the US so it's a moot point.

Al can't run for President here so all of this is a moot point.  Wink

But Sam could run for the UK Parliament as soon as he got the right passport - or the US joins the Commonwealth in an attack of Obamaliberal guilt.
