As we have a lot of members from the areas covered by the EU, I thought it might be helpful to compile a list of TV channels that are showing the elections.

In the United Kingdom we have (all via Sky Digital and times in CET)
Sky News (Channel 501): 2100 - 0100 Decision Time Europe
BBC News (Channel 503): 2030 - 0000 and 0030 to 0200 European Elections 2009
EuroNews (Channel 508): Starting from 2000 updates throughout the evening covering all 27 nations
TV5 Monde (Channel 799): 1930 - 0000 European Election Night (en Francais)

TVEi (Spain) has been kicked off Sky and DW-TV (Germany) does not appear to be doing anything special.

If you live on the western coasts of the UK, it is possible to get signals from RTE 1 in the Irish Republic (and I shall be recording those as well)

Are the local election results airing at the same time?

The locals are being broadcast on the Friday from 10.00am on Sky News and from 1.30pm on BBC News

I hope to be blogging, Tweeting and otherwise internetting the result. As a candidate I'll be at a count on Friday but most of the weekend will be spent on line, lol.

I'm hoping to be able to be at a count as well (Ceredigion)
