Let's just call it my beau ideal or the fact I try to emulate him.

Well, you're clearly growing up. Idolizing Charlie Sheen's fictional character in a TV show is better than idolizing a cartoon dog from a TV show.

Trends suggest, by the time he is 54, he should be idolizing a conservative former Senator, too.
