This is a group advocating the election of legislators who show a firm understanding of the issues facing Atlasia today, and will be active in dealing with those issues.  We do not represent any one political ideology, and are totally non-partisan.  Our only issues are making sure that the leaders in Atlasia understand the problems facing our great Nation, and that they will be active in confronting them.

Although the group is non-partisan, we will not stay away from the political field; since our goal is to elect the most knowledgeable and active officials, we will make endorsements in every race, unless, of course, it is unopposed.

As the founder of the AIAL, I welcome everyone who seeks to join, and will entertain all questions.

Very interesting group. I hope to be a part of it.
It's quite annoying when people who rarely post anymore run for a seat. It's unfair to those of us who are posting, and making a validant effort to get active and those who really want to make a difference.

My assumption is that this is just an organization/club.

While I will not necessarily join this group, I would gladly take part in any discussions on the issues. Like Marokai, I live for these debates and am open to questions from the voters and AIAL.

I strongly support this group and I hope that this group will fight against the recent tendency for quantity and not quality in Atlasia.

With the special election coming up, I'd like to make an endorsement soon.  By my count, this is our membership:

Deeds for Governor '09 (Chairman)
Marokai Blue
Bayh '10
Hashemite

Any objections?

We go by who is more intelligent and active. Therefore, I think it will be a difficult decision, since we are both smart, and of the candidates, are probably the most active.

I would like to join. I always complained about zombie voters (Hello Pacific!) and the valorisation of the quantity over the quality.

Damn.

Here I was thinking that Ben was planning on running for the Senate under such a banner. And we all know how much of an intelligent and active legislator he was during his tenure as Governor of the Mideast. Hehe.

Awesome
Are you planing on appointing a Vice-Chairman? If so, I would be interested in that position.

I haven't decided yet.  I may appoint a Vice-Chairman for each Region, and the Federal Level, to report on those races, but I'm not sure.  I'm thrilled, though, by the early enthusiasm.

Excellent.
Well, I am definitely interested in this. It's a remarkable idea.
Will "we" be endorsing anyone for tomorrow's Senate race?

Same goes for me.

As a candidate I will prefer not to join at this time. Instead I submit myself to such questions or interviews you plan to be doing on the candidates. In the future I might join.
